Find Benewah County Busted Mugshots

Pin down the arresting agency first in Benewah County, because the sheriff's page confirms no public roster and no photo search. Without that starting point the trail has nowhere to begin. From there, the practical tools are the sheriff's app, if it covers the person in question, and a written request to the county for the booking file, sent with a full name and an approximate date. The court file handles charges and outcomes. A photo in county files, a court record, and an unofficial copy floating around are not the same thing. The county records request is the route to Benewah County busted mugshots, and the court file supplies the result.

Benewah Busted Mugshots: Start Here

A booking photo is an identification image made during jail intake. Idaho Code §20-601 says county jails are kept by sheriffs and requires a person arrested or taken to a county jail to complete booking, including a photograph and fingerprints. That capture rule does not say that every Benewah image must appear on a public website. It also does not say how long a photo remains online after release.

The Benewah County Sheriff's Office is the county starting point for a booking record or photo. Its current public page gives the Sheriff's Office contact route but does not expose a verified jail roster, booking search, photo-bearing results view, same-day feed, multi-day feed, photo policy, posting cadence, or persistence rule. St. Maries Police, Plummer Police, Coeur d'Alene Tribal Police, Idaho State Police, and federal agencies can create separate records. A city label or county name on a third-party page does not prove which agency made the arrest or where the person was held.

An arrest entry describes an allegation at a particular moment. The charge may later be amended, dismissed, reduced, resolved by a plea, or tried in court. The person remains presumed innocent unless and until a court establishes a different legal result.

The official Sheriff's contact page is the clearest source for agency identity and the county request starting point. The captured page shows contact information rather than a live roster, so it should not be read as evidence that a public booking search exists.

For a time-sensitive question, call 208-245-2555 and ask whether the current custody information is in Idaho Sheriff Connect or held only by the records custodian.

Benewah Booking Record Fields

A booking packet often holds more than the public ever sees. Benewah publishes no field list online. Treat the items here as a request checklist, not a promise of what a screen will show. When you write to the custodian, ask three things up front: where the record came from, when it was last updated, and which exemption covers anything withheld or blacked out.

Cover the basics first. Name, booking number, date, arresting agency, and facility anchor the search. Keep the intake charge separate from the court case number and its final disposition. A photo may sit in the intake file even when no image shows up in any app or website result.

FieldWhat it can show
Person nameThe name entered by the booking agency, including possible spelling or alias issues.
Booking number or IDThe jail's unique intake identifier, if one was assigned.
Booking date and timeWhen intake occurred, plus a release or transfer time when maintained.
Arresting agencyBenewah County Sheriff, St. Maries Police, Plummer Police, Tribal Police, Idaho State Police, or another agency.
Arrest locationThe city, reservation, county, or other jurisdiction tied to the event, when releasable.
Booking photographThe identification image captured during intake. §20-601 supports the capture step, not automatic online display.
Fingerprints and identifiersBooking or repository information that may be restricted; unnecessary biometric material should not be reproduced.
Age or date of birthAge at booking, while a full birth date may be withheld or limited.
Physical descriptorsSex, race, or other identification fields when the lawful public version includes them.
Charges as bookedThe charge entered at intake, which can change in the prosecutor's complaint or in court.
Charge levelA felony, misdemeanor, hold, warrant, or other category reported by the source record.
Bond or bailAn amount, release condition, bond type, or no-bond status, if the record has been updated.
Court and case numberThe public case or docket connection, when one has been filed and is not sealed.
First appearanceAn arraignment or initial hearing date and any early release conditions.
Release or transfer eventRelease on bond, own recognizance, transfer, sentence, or another custody change.
FacilityThe holding location. County, tribal, state, federal, and neighboring-county custody are separate.
Hold or detainerA warrant, probation or parole hold, agency hold, or federal or immigration request when lawfully disclosed.
Source and update timeThe agency, system, search time, or last-refresh label needed to judge whether the result is current.
DispositionA later dismissal, acquittal, plea, judgment, sentence, or pending status from the court, not the booking screen.
Correction or relief notationA sealed, expunged, juvenile, duplicate, corrected-identity, or other status that affects access.

Records can come out in pieces. A custodian might release the booking date and charge yet hold back a protected identifier, anything juvenile, medical details, victim information, or an investigative note. One redaction does not sink the whole file. Ask for the portions that remain disclosable instead of walking away.

Request a Benewah Busted Booking Photo

Benewah has no posted request form, records email, photo fee schedule, or response pledge on its county pages. Go through the main Sheriff's Office instead. The address is 701 W College Ave, Suite 301, St Maries, ID 83861. The phone number is 208-245-2555. Ask for the public-records custodian by name. Request the booking record and the booking photograph as two separate items. If the Sheriff points you to another agency that actually holds the record, get that referral in hand and send a second request to the originating office.

No separate records or non-emergency number was published. Ask for the public-records custodian.

Put "Idaho Public Records Request" in the subject line. Narrow requests travel faster and get cleaner answers. Your letter should carry the person's name, a rough booking date, the arresting agency, and any booking or case number you have. State the exact record you want and name your preferred electronic format.

  1. Identify the agency and custody record. Say whether the request is for an intake sheet, booking photo, arrest report, release event, bond record, or current status.
  2. Give a tight date range and useful identifiers. Ask the custodian to search the person name, agency, booking date, and number without adding unrelated personal information.
  3. Ask for segregable non-exempt material. If a photo or field is withheld, request the written statutory basis and any releasable booking record.
  4. Request an itemized estimate before substantial copying or search charges. Ask whether electronic delivery changes the cost.
  5. Keep the request, response, redactions, fee estimate, and cited statute. If there is a denial, ask about the appeal path or consult counsel.

Idaho Code §74-102 gives the public the right to examine and copy records, photographs among them, within the law's exemptions. Idaho residents get the first two hours of labor and the first 100 paper pages free in the circumstances the statute describes. Beyond that, actual costs and labor may apply. None of this guarantees a free booking photo or forces release of any particular image.

Timing rules live in Section 74-103: a grant or denial within three working days, or a notice that extra time is needed, with the answer due no later than ten working days. Section 74-105 and §74-124 set out the law-enforcement, investigatory, arrest-related, and protected-information limits a custodian can invoke. If a request gets denied, Section 74-115 allows a district-court appeal within 180 calendar days. Process rights, though, are not a delivery date for any photo.

Note: A photo request and an incident-report request get different reviews, so name each record separately in your letter.

Why Benewah Record Fees Need Confirmation

No agency in Benewah County posts a firm fee schedule for booking records or photos. St. Maries Police simply notes that charges may apply to a written request. Plummer takes a different path, using a public-records form that spells out delivery, extension, and appeal terms. A fee figure buried in old Plummer council minutes is history, not a promise of today's price. Before any large search or reproduction job begins, ask the custodian for an itemized estimate in writing.

Idaho law leaves room for the bill to shrink. Under §74-102, a resident's charge can be reduced. The final amount turns on the record itself, staff labor, page count, format, and any review the law allows. A custodian might hand over an electronic copy at actual cost, or answer only part of a request. Never treat a third-party site's access price as a county fee.

St. Maries accepts written public-records requests online or in person at City Hall, 602 College Ave, and cautions that an open investigation can slow release. In Plummer, custodian Rhiannon Veltri handles requests at rhi@cityofplummer.org, and the city request form is linked from the official records page. One catch: the agency that wrote a report may not hold the county booking photo. Those can sit with entirely different offices.

Idaho Law: Capture vs Publication

Idaho Code §20-601 requires a person arrested or taken to a county jail to complete booking, including a photograph and fingerprints. That is a capture and intake rule. It does not require Benewah County to post every photo online, set a public roster cadence, say how long an entry stays after release, or create a general rule requiring a private copy-holder to remove every image. The research located no current Idaho statute that changes those distinctions.

The Idaho Public Records Act gives a public right to inspect and copy records, including photographs, while §§74-103, 74-105, and 74-124 govern request timing and exceptions. The result can be a full release, a redacted record, a delay, or a written denial. A public-record label does not make every name, address, date of birth, victim detail, juvenile record, medical note, or investigative field suitable for republication.

The Idaho State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification says its fingerprint repository does not include juvenile criminal-history information unless a juvenile was adjudicated as an adult. The public iCourt system also excludes sealed and certain protected matters. A missing public result is not proof that no event occurred, and a third-party copy should not be used to defeat those limits.

The official Idaho booking statute page is a useful legal source because it shows the text that requires the intake image. The captured page explains the law, not a public mugshot gallery, and it should not be treated as proof that a Benewah photo is online.

Idaho Code section 20-601 on Benewah County booking photographs and fingerprints

That distinction keeps a booking-photo search accurate: ask whether the image exists, whether the agency is the custodian, and whether a specific exemption limits release.

Busted Records: Clean Slate and Expungement

Idaho relief rules are separate from a roster's display settings. Idaho Code §67-3004 describes circumstances involving no indictment or information within one year, acquittal, or dismissal where a person may request expungement of fingerprint and criminal-history records. Subsection 11 addresses eligible misdemeanor and certain nonviolent or controlled-substance felony records. Eligibility is fact-specific, and an order does not automatically erase every copy held by a private page.

The Idaho Supreme Court Clean Slate Act information describes shielding for eligible records after the statutory period, generally five years after completing the sentence, including probation, parole, fines, and restitution, subject to limits. Shielding restricts access in defined systems. It is not the same as destroying the underlying record or every image already copied elsewhere.

The official Clean Slate page provides forms and court information rather than a live county booking result. The captured material is useful for understanding a relief path, but it does not establish that a particular Benewah record qualifies.

After an order or correction, send the documentation to the originating agency and each copy-holder. RecentlyBooked's free correction policy lists wrong-person, duplicate, juvenile, dismissed, sealed, expunged, incorrect, and outdated-material requests. Mugshots.com's site policy describes free update routes for documented expungement, sealing, identity theft, death, or court-supported corrections. These are private-site procedures, not county orders.

Be wary of anyone demanding money to correct a wrong identity, remove a sealed record, or guarantee that a search result will disappear. Use the free policy, the originating agency, court relief, and the outdated-content route instead.

Once a source page or image has changed, Google's Refresh Outdated Content tool can be used for a stale search result. It does not remove a live, accurate source. A correction request should begin with the agency or court that created the record, then move to copy-holders and search indexes.

Benewah Busted Jail History: Context

Local reporting adds texture on the county's old jail. A 2017 Coeur d'Alene Press story called the facility cramped. It put capacity at 16 beds. Reports from 2012 covered escapes there years earlier. Small counties like this often handle records by phone, app, or formal request rather than a web page.

Benewah Booking Records and Archives

For old booking material, start statewide. The Idaho State Archives and Historical Society published a Law Enforcement Records Book that maps out what Idaho agencies kept. It names SG1605 Booking Records for confinement and release paperwork. It names SG1645 Mug Shots for photographs and negatives used to identify or apprehend people. Homicide and felony material is marked permanent. Misdemeanor files are kept five years past the close of the matter and then destroyed.

Treat that book as an older statewide guide. It does not bind Benewah County today. It cannot confirm that any particular photo reached the archives or stayed online anywhere. Before assuming anything, ask the Sheriff's Office which retention schedule applies and whether a record still exists, was transferred, or was destroyed.

History hunters have another route. The State Archives newspaper list points to St. Maries titles, and the University of Idaho holds Gazette-Record microfilm going back to June 4, 1918. An old arrest story can survive in newsprint long after a roster vanishes. A clipping is not the jail record itself, though, and it says nothing about who is in custody now.

Work through the originating agency first. Then turn to the State Archivist or a newspaper repository once a transfer or archival lead is confirmed. Retention and online visibility are separate things. A photo can drop off an app while the official record survives, and an unofficial copy can linger even after the source record is corrected or destroyed.

ISP's Benewah Arrest Count

The 2025 Idaho State Police report offers one useful local number. These are agency-reported arrests, though, not bookings. The Benewah County total is 172 arrests, split between 159 adults and 13 juveniles. St. Maries Police reported 31, and Plummer Police reported none. Those figures describe what agencies reported to the system. They do not count booking photos, current inmates, or every tribal, state, federal, or out-of-county event.

172ISP-reported county arrests
159Reported adult arrests
13Reported juvenile arrests
31St. Maries Police arrests
0Plummer Police arrests

The figures come from the 2025 ISP Benewah County report. Keep the label "ISP-reported arrests" attached to every number. The report's reporting population and method differ from Census counts and from jail intake. Juvenile figures, in particular, can never be converted into public booking-photo counts.

Why Busted Counts Are Not Bookings

What the ISP report leaves out matters just as much. It has no names, no booking IDs, no photo links, no daily dates, no release times, and no custody status field. A St. Maries arrest may never have entered the county jail, and a Plummer count says nothing about county detention. An arrest can end at a different facility, a referral, a citation, or a court process with no public booking page attached.

The trend data still helps with scale and agency context. It is no substitute for the Sheriff, city police, Tribal Police, iCourt, IDOC, or a records request. An annual total will never tell you who got busted last night or how many photos should be online.

Find Benewah Busted Mugshots

Finding a busted mugshot in Benewah takes a series of checks. The county has no verified web roster or photo view, so the work moves system by system. Start with the arresting agency and the person's custody status. A just-booked detainee, a released person, an IDOC resident, a tribal detainee, and a federal or immigration detainee each lead to different records.

  1. Identify the arresting authority. Consider the Benewah County Sheriff, St. Maries Police, Plummer Police, Coeur d'Alene Tribal Police, Idaho State Police, or another agency.
  2. Open the official Sheriff page and call 208-245-2555. Ask whether Idaho Sheriff Connect currently shows custody information and whether a photo is displayed or request-only.
  3. Check the Benewah module in Idaho Sheriff Connect if the app is active. Save the last-updated label and do not assume that a media post is a booking record.
  4. Search Idaho MyCourt when a public case or disposition is likely. Sealed or protected matters will not appear in the same way.
  5. Use the IDOC resident/client search only when the person may be under state custody or supervision. It is not a county booking feed.
  6. Send a narrow written request for the booking record and photo if the official web or app path is absent. Ask for a written exemption citation when a record is withheld.

Third-party county pages can surface a lead. That is their limit. They cannot confirm custody, facility, source agency, or outcome. Match any unofficial entry to a dated official record before you trust it.

Where Benewah Busted Photos Appear

Official sources come first. The table separates confirmed public channels from possible paths, court records, and unofficial databases. A "not established" photo status is deliberate. No official Benewah roster, photo view, feed window, or publication policy has been verified.

Treat unofficial pages as landscape clues, nothing more. They may copy records, drop an agency name, keep a stale entry, list a person twice, or tag a county label that does not match the actual holding facility. Official custody and court sources decide the question.

Benewah Busted Roster: No Public View

Benewah County's official pages offer no public jail roster. There is no booking search form on the Sheriff's site. No photo results view, either. The county has not published an update schedule or any rule for how long a booking entry stays visible. That absence only describes what the public website shows. The jail may well keep a full internal booking system that simply is not posted online.

With no official field list to work from, treat every data point below as a question to confirm. Ask the Sheriff or check inside the app. A generic directory's search fields should never be passed off as Benewah's own system.

Search or result fieldWhat to confirm with Benewah
NameWhether the public search accepts a full name, partial name, spelling variant, or alias.
Booking IDWhether an internal booking number can be searched or only returned after a name match.
Date rangeWhether the system supports a date filter and how far back it searches.
Arresting agencyWhether Sheriff, city, tribal, state, and other agency records are separated.
Charge or statusWhether charges, custody status, hold type, or release condition is shown.
Bond and court dateWhether bond, first appearance, case number, or hearing data is synced.
PhotographWhether the Benewah module actually displays a booking photo or only records a photo exists.
Last updateWhether a timestamp identifies the result's age and whether updates are manual or automatic.
Release and persistenceWhether an entry disappears at release, stays as an archive, or is removed on another schedule.
Protected recordsWhether juvenile, sealed, expunged, victim, or investigative material is excluded or redacted.

Start by asking the Sheriff's Office directly. Does Idaho Sheriff Connect show anything different from the website? If the app returns nothing for your search, pick up the phone. The main line can answer a specific question, or you can file a request narrowed to a date range. Keep one thing in mind. An empty result does not rule out that an arrest happened at all.

  1. Open the official Sheriff page and confirm that the source is Benewah County, not an unofficial directory.
  2. Ask whether a public roster exists and whether its result includes a photo, booking date, charges, bond, facility, and release status.
  3. Record the search date, last-updated label, and custody wording. “In custody” is not the same as “arrested in the county.”
  4. Use a written request when the online or app view does not answer the question.

Can a missing roster result prove there was no arrest? No. The event may sit in a city, tribal, state, neighboring-county, federal, or restricted system. Or the public view may simply not exist.

Idaho Sheriff Connect: Photo Search?

The strongest public evidence of a possible live custody path is the official Idaho Sheriff Connect rollout announcement. It says the app was made available for Bonneville, Canyon, and Benewah Sheriff offices and describes jail information or inmate search, records, tips, notifications, media releases, and community resources. The announcement does not prove that the Benewah module displays booking photos, shows every field, updates the same day, or keeps a release archive.

The Apple App Store listing and Google Play listing identify the app. Open the current listing, choose the Benewah County Sheriff's Office module if prompted, and note the last update and the section that returned the result. A media release or push notification may be official communication without being a booking record.

The official launch page is useful because it names Benewah in the rollout. Its screenshot shows the app announcement and feature context, not a Benewah photo result, so photo display must remain qualified.

If the app is unavailable, returns no result, or shows a media item instead of custody data, call 208-245-2555 or request the record. The app is a possible public path, not proof of photo display.

Busted Last Night? Timing Is Unpublished

Benewah publishes no 24-hour or 48-hour booking feed. Nothing official at 72 hours, weekly, or archived, either. St. Maries and Plummer pages carry no verified same-day arrest bulletin. Coeur d'Alene Tribal Police posts activity logs and quarterly data, but neither is labeled a booking-photo feed.

The Gazette Record runs dated "Sheriff's Log" articles on a recurring basis. One example carried an August 12, 2026 log title, was published August 17, and carried metadata pointing to a July 31 log. That lag explains the problem. A weekly newspaper item cannot tell you who was booked today. The Gazette Record news page is good for local context, not a live roster.

Commercial sites fill the gap with claims, not county data. RecentlyBooked says it refreshes several times a day on a last-30-days view, yet its Benewah count shifted from ten to nine and carried an August 5, 2026 update stamp. Mugshots.com showed a county count of 83 with no verified time window behind it. These are site database figures. They are not county totals, custody counts, or booking schedules.

Timing is not published. No sourced basis exists for promising a Benewah booking appears within 24, 48, or 72 hours, or that release removes an entry. Call the Sheriff for time-sensitive status, and request older records by date.

Each source answers a different question. For a past event, ask the Sheriff whether the record is retained or was transferred. Court outcomes live in iCourt. State custody lives in IDOC. Local history sits in the Gazette Record archive or with State Archives leads. Match the question to the source.

Busted State Offender Photos: IDOC

The Idaho Department of Correction resident/client search covers people under IDOC jurisdiction, including incarcerated people and people on state probation or parole. The search accepts a last name and first name or an IDOC number. The page says a last-name search needs at least two letters, an IDOC-number search needs at least three digits, and the database is updated daily. It warns that status and location may not reflect every recent change.

IDOC is a state custody and supervision locator. It does not replace the Benewah County just-booked path and will not reliably show a person released from county custody, held by a tribe, detained in another county, or in a federal facility. The public result view located during research did not establish a mugshot or offender-photo field, so do not promise an IDOC photo.

The official IDOC search is the right source for state custody scope. The captured page shows a state search interface, not a Benewah booking result or a public photo field.

For a state record or photograph that IDOC maintains, use the IDOC JustFOIA public-records portal and identify the IDOC number, record type, date range, and requested format.

Booked, Released, Sentenced: Record Paths

Where a person sits in the system decides where you look. Someone can drop off the Benewah County jail roster while the booking itself stays on file. Release from jail rarely ends a court case. A state sentence moves the person into IDOC records. Federal lockups show up in a federal locator instead. So one arrest can leave traces in several places, and each lookup answers a different custody question about the same booking.

Custody or record stateBest sourceWhat it can answer

Federal or immigration custodyBOP, ICE, USMS, or the receiving agencyA separate federal custody status. These systems do not provide a universal Benewah photo path.

Two entries are not automatically one person. Match the agency first. Then check the date, the charge, and the facility. Only after those line up should you connect them. This matters most in Plummer and Tensed, where reservation, county, state, and federal authority can all overlap on the same block.

After a Benewah Booking: Court Result

What happens after a booking? The Benewah County Prosecutor receives law-enforcement reports once an investigation wraps up and reviews them for criminal charges. That local step is why an arrest label, a later complaint, and the final court case can look nothing alike. A first appearance or arraignment can set a case number, release conditions, a hearing date, or probable-cause details. The court's later resolution, called the disposition, might be a dismissal, acquittal, plea, judgment, or sentence.

The Benewah County Court page lists the courthouse at 701 W College Ave, Suite 203, St Maries, Idaho 83861, phone 208-245-3241, with a link to Idaho iCourt. Search MyCourt by party or case number, then apply the filters and compare agency, charge, court, and filing date. A name alone is never enough.

Where a case goes next. After a Benewah County booking, the real outcome lives in the court file. A docket can show amended counts, dismissals, or a final resolution. Check there for the result.

Tracking the outcome. The booking record is just the start. For the legal status of a case, look to the public court docket in Benewah County, which lists filings and the final disposition.

Booking
The intake process that records identity, alleged charges, custody details, and the required photograph and fingerprints.
Arraignment
An early court appearance where the case, rights, plea, or release conditions may be addressed.
Bond
Money or a court-ordered condition used to address release while a case continues.
Disposition
The court's later result, such as dismissal, acquittal, plea, judgment, or sentence.
Detainer
A request or hold from another authority that can affect release or transfer; it is not a conviction.
Expungement
A legal relief process that can remove or restrict defined records under Idaho law, subject to eligibility and the order's scope.

Why Juvenile and Sealed Results Stay Missing

Some records stay missing on purpose. Idaho's BCI repository leaves out juvenile criminal history unless the juvenile was adjudicated as an adult. The state's public court portal goes further, excluding sealed cases along with certain Rule 32 material that courts protect. Redactions are common too. Victim identities, protected witnesses, medical details, addresses, birth dates, fingerprints, and investigative information may all be trimmed from what the public sees.

Treat these gaps as protections, not puzzles. A third-party copy should never be used to slip past a shield that keeps an official record out of view. Publishing a juvenile's image, or guessing at someone's status because their name is absent, crosses the same line. When something looks wrong, duplicated, sealed, expunged, or attached to the wrong person, take the correction to the agency, the court, or the documented fix process that owns it.

A name alone proves little. Check the agency, the date, the case, and the custody source before deciding a record belongs to a particular person.

iCourt and the Benewah Case

After a booking, iCourt is the local public path. It is no jail roster, though. With MyCourt Smart Search, anyone can look up unsealed case information by party name or case number. Hearings show up there too. Results lag, however. A case may take time to surface, may belong to a different Idaho county, or may never appear at all because it is sealed or protected.

The Gazette Record adds a second layer. Its courthouse lists can show felony and misdemeanor charges, dates, pleas, and later case detail. Its recurring Sheriff's Log supplies news context. Neither publication replaces the Clerk, the Sheriff, or the court docket. Neither tells you reliably who is in custody right now.

When the portal cannot answer a disposition question, call the county court at 208-245-3241. Ask the law-enforcement custodian for the booking photo. Ask the court for the case result. Keep the two records apart until a matching case number, agency, and date connect them.

VINE Alerts: Custody, Not Photos

The Benewah Prosecutor page links VINELink. The Idaho Sheriffs Association VINE information explains the rest. VINE ties together participating jails, IDOC movement data, release notices, and court notifications. It exists to alert. It is not a booking-photo publication system, and it does not promise a message for every agency or custody change.

Pick the correct Idaho jurisdiction. Register only for lawful custody or court notices. A VINE message helps with release and movement awareness. Silence, though, proves nothing. It does not rule out an arrest, a release, or a record sitting in a different system. Tribal, federal, neighboring-county, and out-of-state events often travel their own data paths.

Busted: Tribal, State, Federal Custody

Plummer and Tensed sit inside the Coeur d'Alene Reservation. Tribal, county, state, and federal authority can overlap in one place as a result. The Coeur d'Alene Tribal Police publish their own reports, activity logs, dispatch details, and tip lines. One catch matters here. A tribal record will not automatically appear as a Benewah County Jail record. So figure out which agency made the arrest before you chase a photo or a custody status.

Federal custody works differently. The Federal Bureau of Prisons locator tracks federal inmates, though it offers no general mugshot field for the public. Immigration detention has its own tool. That is the ICE detainee locator, and it may demand exact identifying details to return a match. Photos are harder still. The U.S. Marshals Service photograph guidance states plainly that the agency keeps no public prisoner-photo feed. No federal or immigration contract at the Benewah facility has been verified.

A transfer only shifts where someone is held right now. The original county booking record stays put. Request it from the county or arresting agency first, then check the receiving system for current custody. One more caution is worth stating. A county booking, a name, a language, or a third-party site tells you nothing about a person's immigration status. Never guess it from those fields.

Busted Mugshots by City in Benewah County

The city map here draws on the 2020 Census incorporated-place table. St. Maries ranks first as the county seat and the largest incorporated place. Plummer comes second. Tensed trails behind it. Before anything else on a city page, check the arresting agency. No official source claims that every arrest in these cities lands at the Benewah County Jail.

  • St. Maries Busted Mugshots: 2,357 people in the 2020 Census. St. Maries Police has a current police page and written public-record route, but no official city arrest log or photo-bearing results page was found. Its non-emergency route points to 208-245-2555, so state whether the request is for a city incident or county custody.
  • Plummer Busted Mugshots: 1,015 people in the 2020 Census. Plummer Police lists 880 C Street and 208-686-1641, and the city identifies a records custodian and request form. Reservation jurisdiction can also involve Coeur d'Alene Tribal Police, Idaho State Police, or federal authorities.
  • Tensed Busted Mugshots: 84 people in the 2020 Census. No separate municipal police page or city arrest log was located. Tribal Police identifies Tensed within reservation coverage, while county, state, or federal authority may be involved in another event.

Ranking and population dates come straight from the Census incorporated-place table. A city label on RecentlyBooked or Mugshots.com proves nothing about complete municipal coverage. Local papers can help fill gaps. The Gazette Record and Coeur d'Alene Press sometimes cover St. Maries, Plummer, Tensed, or rural Benewah when a case draws attention. Neither outlet runs a complete booking feed. Treat them as one thread of the story.
