About This Site: Benewah Records

Finding a Benewah County booking photo or recent arrest starts with identifying the office that created or now holds the record. The Benewah County Sheriff's Office and its jail are the county starting point, while Idaho Department of Correction, the courts, and city or tribal agencies cover other custody and record stages. This private reference site organizes those official paths and does not publish a photo gallery.

Why This Benewah Guide Exists

Idaho public-record rules can make arrest and booking information available, but access still depends on the record, the agency, and any applicable exemption. The Benewah County Sheriff's Office is the practical first source for a Benewah County Jail booking record or photograph. Its current public website does not verify a public roster, photo policy, or posting schedule, so this guide does not pretend that an online list exists.

The Sheriff creates or holds the county intake record, the Idaho Department of Correction handles sentenced state prisoners and people under state supervision, and the Benewah County Court shows what happens after booking. St. Maries Police, Plummer Police, Coeur d'Alene Tribal Police, and other originating agencies may hold the incident report instead. This site brings those official sources, lookup distinctions, and written-request steps together while hosting no booking-photo gallery of its own.

What You Can Use Here

The project is organized around the different record paths a Benewah reader may need:

  • The Benewah County home guide is the mega-hub. It combines booking-record access, recent-arrest guidance, the roster and feed question, Idaho mugshot law, court follow-up, and correction or removal information instead of scattering those subjects across separate pages.
  • City pages cover St. Maries, Plummer, and Tensed. Each one explains which city, county, or tribal authority may have made the arrest and why a city label does not prove where a person was booked.
  • Official record and request steps identify the Sheriff's phone route, Idaho public-record process, city police request paths, and Tribal Police reports route. A written request is the fallback when no public web view is verified.
  • State, federal, and court channels are kept separate. Idaho iCourt addresses case and disposition information, IDOC covers state custody and supervision, and the Bureau of Prisons or ICE locators cover distinct federal or immigration custody.

What This Site Cannot Do

Benewah County Busted Mugshots is privately operated. It is not affiliated with the Benewah County Sheriff's Office, Benewah County Jail, Idaho Department of Correction, any court, city or tribal police department, or another government agency. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA, and its information is not offered for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-covered use.

  • We cannot hold, release, transfer, or otherwise control a person in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send money to an agency or person for you.
  • We cannot give legal advice or decide which remedy fits a record.
  • We cannot promise that an address, phone number, fee, or agency process remains current.

Only the originating Sheriff's Office, police department, Tribal Police, court, or corrections agency can confirm current custody, charges, release, or disposition. A booking entry is an accusation or intake record, not a finding of guilt. Verify the official record with the office that created it.

Search Partner Disclosure

Some pages contain search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those providers set their own prices, terms, data practices, and result coverage. If a visitor follows a partner link and completes a paid signup, this site may receive a referral fee that helps support the reference pages. A referral relationship does not give this site control over the partner's service or turn an unofficial result into an official Benewah record.
